This past weekend, our Nigeria team was recognised at our 19th Founders’ Day.
What matters most to me is who that recognition reflects.
The teams on the ground who show up every day, navigate ambiguity, and stay deeply committed to patient care are the real story. Operating day to day in an environment where uncertainty is constant has been one of the most demanding learning curves of my professional and personal life. It has stretched how I think about operations, strategy, and, most importantly, patient care.
I’m grateful to the entire Nigeria team, to Ajay Chaudhary for his steady mentorship, to Dr Temitope Tijani for her leadership, and to Dr Deependra for his guidance. A big thank you also to our corporate teams and doctors in India who support us at every step.
Being present at the 19th Founders’ Day was personally reflective. I’ve attended almost every one since the early years, usually sitting beside my father and observing quietly. To be there this time as an official part of the Eye-Q family, and to see Nigeria acknowledged, was humbling.
Grateful for the journey and for the learning that comes from stepping into unfamiliar waters, one day at a time.
